I had a hard time finding the bellows for my son's 2014 Ram 1500 without buying the whole steering gear. There are several universal fit bellows on Amazon and there ARE several bellows kits as well. My problem was that the universal fit didn't look right and the OE bellows weren't on prime. When the truck is pulled apart, sitting in my driveway, I didn't want to wait for shipping. My son and I agreed that we'd use this kit, return the inner tie rods that he had purchased at a local shop and we'd get the job done. These arrived the day after we ordered them. They looked just like the "OE" tie rods that we got at the local auto parts store but they came with the bellows which were ripped and the whole reason we added the inner tie rods to the suspension work we were already performing. Took them to the shop for an alignment and the guy there said everything looked great and told us we'd made the right decision doing the work ourselves - saving nearly $2000 in labor. Here's the thing - if you don't have the right tools or skills, the steering gear is nothing to be messed with. While I've been fixing cars & trucks for over a decade I'm not a professional and I've never been professionally trained. I have a guy in town who runs a shop and I always have him double check my work if I have any doubts or concerns. There are things I'm not equipped to handle and his guys are the ones that do all that work. The point is, just be careful if you plan to do this yourself.
