This high-performance cover offers an EXTREMELY good grip for a very low price. It gives the driver a race car-like response to the slightest movement of one's hand, which was exactly what I was looking for (I'm a "zoom-zoom" Mazda driver). However, this extreme grip could be dangerous for an inexperienced or poorly trained driver.This cover is VERY easy to install, as it is essentially a large, silicone rubber band.However, it is a bit too wide, exposing slightly-annoying flaps of excess-material that my fidgety fingers want to play with (One could simply cut-off the excess, I suppose, and then reinstall the cover. I haven't bothered, though, because it's a very minor issue.)Despite its excellent performance, the product initially gives the buyer a sense of disappointment due to its flimsy, ultra-simple design. As a wrote before, it is basically a glorified rubber band.Nevertheless, I REALLY like this product and use it daily.A lot of grip as it's silicone. No cushion. Takes some getting used to, but I get lots of compliments.Very fun pop of color. Thin enough that it doesn't drastically change the size or shape of the original wheel. Feels like you would expect, like rubber silicon. Only gripe I have is that is doesn't wrap around the wheel, so it leaves these gaps. Just let yourself get used to it, I suppose. Easy to put on. Fit my 2006 Honda civic no problem.EDIT: I've had this cover for over a year now and I've noticed my orange is a little discolored on the top from the sun. Otherwise still holding it's shape nicely.Don't get me wrong, you get what you pay for. It looks like rubber and it feels like rubber. But it does get the job done.In my case, I have a white steering wheel that gets dirty just by looking at it. This cover protects it without much fanfare, which is exactly what I wanted.I am curious to see how durable this material turns out to be, though. I will follow up in a few months to report on any sagging or yellowing. If there isn't any I might even give it 5 stars.As one of the only women at a construction company, I'm constantly surrounded by men and I wanted something feminine for my work truck which is all gray and black inside.It was a little difficult to get on, but mostly because my steering wheel is at the larger end of the sizing.The leather print doesn't really remind me of leather, but does give it a good grip. And being made from silicone, I can wash it when it gets grimy.LOVE this steering wheel cover! It fits perfectly and isn't too thick which means I can keep a media button clipped to my steering wheel still. I wanted a hint of color in my car but was horrified by most of the pink steering wheel covers I saw. They were all frighteningly furry and sparkly whereas I wanted something simple and not flashy. This steering wheel cover has a leather texture printed on it which I personally don't care for much but it's not very noticeable. I might consider putting it on inside out to see how it might look that way. Either way, it's a perfect addition to my car and much cheaper than most of the ones I've seen in stores which have been double or triple the price and quadruple the tackiness!Honestly, for the money it does work well and serves its purpose. My palms get kind of sweaty at times when driving and my hands never slip. The only thing that I complain about is the fit it does have some space.I just wanted some class on the inside of my car and this looks nice and was very simple to put on. I was concerned about the grip, but my hands never slip. It works well and adds a nice splash of color. I’m pleased with it.
