Be aware that this item doess NOT include a protective boot for the exposed piston rod, and that's a design flaw that can cause the rod seal to leak prematurely. More importantly, this does NOT fit my 2018 Ram 3500 out of the box. The brackets on the vehicle are different widths to prevent installing the damper backwards; the bushing sleeves KYB supplies are the same size; too long for the outboard bracket. KYB admits that one metal bushing sleeve will need to be "trimmed" over 1/8" to fit, and promises that modification won't void the warranty. A simple change in the hardware package would fix this without expecting the customer to pull out a grinder.
