Easy to replace the OEM and bracket with this, just follow the instructions, but I'd liked to have kept the OEM bracket, but it wont work. So unbolt it and use the instructions to set it up and use a tape measure to get the correct measurement. Then once tightened up good and snug, have someone turn left to right at full turns and watch the travel of the rod....if it binds....then something's off, hence why its snugged up. Once everything is correct, tighten it up securely. Thos was on a 03 F250 7.3L 4X4
