Fairly easy install, i bought these for my DRZ400sm (fits all your drz400 models) because i heard they were some groundbreaking thing. I didn't believe this of course because, common they are just bushings but to my surprise they completely changed the feel of the steering. i get all feedback and i love it. i know what the bike is doing when the front wheel comes back down or when i take it offroad in the dirt. i will say it takes a little adjustment when you take it back offroad....it is way better once you get used to the feedback but at first it may feel squirrely but i assure you as you get used to it, it will make it better to avoid a quick sandy slide if you have fat 17" tires like i do.
