These give a crisper and more responsive steering feel.I was worried about vibration but that wasn't an issue.Love the aftermarket stem mounts. Better than the stock. More stable, doesn’t twist bars coming down for a wheelie or when the bike is dropped. THIS IS A MUST PURCHASE MOD !!!It fits a 2017 drz400sm. It helped tighten up the front end and simple install less than 10min.Purchased this for my 2009 DRZ400SM that I put an 18/21 offroad wheelset on. I did not feel anything wrong with my bike but I have dropped it many times since I go ham offroad and thought I should probably do what I can to stiffen up the bars. I wasn't sure if i would notice a difference, but boy was I wrong. It made such a good difference in the feel of the bike when riding offroad as well as on road. There is a lot more feel in the bars and I feel more planted and in control. I feel like I can pick a line offroad and be 100% sure I will hit it. Vibration hasn't increased either, and for 16 bucks this was an amazing mod.Super easy install! 2 bolts and your done! Adds way better feel to the front end! Perfect fit. If you have protaper risers you will need to drill the holes on the rubber killers a little bit bigger to make them fit! The also look really good installed under the bars!A must have for any drz rider.These are for STOCK handlbars and risers.The bolts for Protaper 1. 1/8 are too big to fit these holes.You will need to drill them out to work for protaper bars.Otherwise, if you dont have access to a drill press, i suggest ordering the kx450 versions.Fits great has to be drilled to fit pro taper risers but works great
